Kredtrakarn Home

Welcome to the Kredtrakarn Home in Thailand.

HOPE worldwide (Thailand) has established a Computer Training Center at the Kredtrakarn Protection and Occupational Development Center (Kredtrakan Home) in Nonthaburi Province, a governmental rehabilitation center for young women under 18 years of age who suffer from various types of social problems. There are about 400 teenage girls at Kredtrakarn Home that are obligated to remain for 1-2 years before they are released.

HOPE worldwide (Thailand)’s Computer Training Center in Kredtrakan Home creates an opportunity for the underprivileged women to learn computer skills. Each year, HOPE establishes 10 classes of 5 different computer training courses in basic principles of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) using a curriculum from Microsoft’s Unlimited Potential Program. Each class accommodates 12 students. An average course duration is 30 hours. After completion of the course, each student who passed the test will receives an official certification from Microsoft Thailand, which is useful for job application.
