OUR MISSION
TWCCTW’s mission is to empower and educate women and children in Southeast Asia.

CORE VALUES
In all aspects of our work as Together We Can Change The World we consistently act in accordance with our core values: Sustainability: We focus on enhancing the long-term growth and success of TWCCTW, in-country organizations we serve, and the international speaking community. Heartfelt connection: We approach each interaction with open hearts and minds, encouraging deeper emotional connections. We celebrate and honor those we serve and serve with. Integrity: We consistently act ethically, honestly and with transparency. Humility: We respect and seek to understand the cultures, traditions, and life situations of the individuals and organizations with whom we interact. Community-minded: We approach all situations with a mindset of kindness, inclusivity, and abundance.
WHO WE ARE
What began as a dream to impact children throughout SE Asia continues to inspire and assist women and children today. In 2008 Jana Stanfield and Scott Friedman founded Together We Can Change The World. Both were conducting quite a lot of business in SE Asia at the time and had been touched by the culture, graciousness and compassion of the people, not to mention, the overwhelming need for support. It was decided, TWCCTW would focus it’s efforts in SE Asia.
Bill Taylor now serves as the operations officer and director of TWCCTW, overseeing the fund. Bill has over 40 years of management experience and non-profit work. He assists the organization with strategic planning, organization development, and building sustainability.
Currently we organize global speaking tours to create awareness, raise money and celebrate with the kids.
vulnerable. Impoverished societies typically provide far fewer opportunities for girls to attend school and be productive members of their communities. By targeting this segment of society we have an opportunity to significantly and positively impact poverty while improving human potential. We believe:
When you educate a man, you educate one person.
When you educate a woman, you educate a family.
~Dr. James Emmanuel Kwegyir-Aggrey
With the combined talents of our volunteer team we are making a real difference in the lives of many girls, boys, and women throughout the region.
WHAT WE DO
TWCCTW raises money to support non-government groups that are eminently qualified to serve girls, boys, and women in seven SE Asian countries, namely: Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia Laos, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. Along with raising money, we establish sustainability, generate awareness and invest time, energy and love with each group.
We routinely travel to these countries to assess the outcomes of our efforts. We encourage sponsors to join us on our trips. By working closely with these organizations, we understand what is needed. When we visit, we learn. We teach. We entertain. Most importantly we show others that we care and that we are making a difference one child at a time. We provide hope and help. You are most welcome to join us on one of our many trips to see the impact your generosity provides.
TWCCTW has now built its’ first orphanage in Waing Pa Pao, Thailand and is currently building a home in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Your support provides the means to continue this positive momentum. Wiang Pa Pao will be the first stop on the upcoming 2013 tour.
WHO WE DO IT FOR
We are very selective about the homes and orphanages chosen for support. An onsite visit is made prior to approval in addition the organizations must meet the following criteria:
- Focus on educating girls, including addressing issues of health, safety, and the well-being of girls and women.
- Demonstrate ethical, trustworthy, fiscally responsible practices in the performance of their work.
- Show financial integrity and transparency.
- Have English speaking leadership.
- Be receptive to our hands-on coaching to improve the sustainability of their organizations.
One vivid example of success is the work in Bali where Bill has worked extensively with the Widhya Asih Foundation to support their seven orphanages in the provision of food, shelter, and education for 400 children. For more information, please visit Balifund.org
WHAT YOU CAN DO

You, as an individual or corporate body, can make a difference in a child’s life. Open your hearts to share your love, time and resources with them, giving them the affection and love they crave, bestowing upon them the dignity they so rightfully deserve and changing their lives forever.
