In the ‘90’s, she coached and managed more than 200 of the best professional trainers around the world for CareerTrack , Inc. She coached the world champion of public speaking in 2000. Since 1999, as the principal in The Impact Institute, she has facilitated Communication topics that make the difference for performance on public and private sector teams in the US and internationally at conferences in Singapore, Yangon, Warsaw, Taipei, Mumbai, Bangalore, Beijing, Dubai and Sao Paulo. Some of Christie’s public sector clients in the US are the US Air Force, Department of Interior, El Monte and Albuquerque school districts, the National Business Center, and several city and county governments. Her corporate clients include DISH Network, IHS, GE, Johnson & Johnson, SUN, TW Telecom, and AT&T. Among her non-profit clients are Goodwill, the National Scholarship Provider’s Association, the National Education Procurement Association, the Boettcher Foundation, ASU and the US Olympic Committee.
Christie is past president of ATD-RMC (Association for Talent Development – Rocky Mountain Chapter), became part of the National Advisors for Chapters (NAC) for ATD in 2008, served 3 years and was elected NAC Chair for 2011-2012 by her peers. She served on the National Board of Directors for ATD from 2011 to 2012. She has served as a judge for the Best Practices Awards for ATD for years and speaks at the international conference for ATD in the US every year, which draws a global audience of over 10,000. She was part of the ICE PAC (International Conference and Exposition program advisory committee) from 2013-2016, and was chair for ICE 2016 in her hometown of Denver, Colorado.
Christie facilitates the Training Certificate, the Instructional Design Certificate, the Facilitation Certificate and the Master Trainer program for ATD. Christie keynotes for ATD globally and has spoken in Singapore, Taipei, Mumbai and Bangalore. In 2019, she spoke for ATD in China and Brazil and keynoted a Core4 Conference. She is past president for NSA (National Speaker’s Association) Colorado, and in 2016 was co-chair for their Winter Conference in Austin, TX. Christie regularly volunteers for the Tennyson Center for abused children, where she judges a speech contest with her NSA colleagues every year. She also conducts mock-scholarship interviews for inner-city youth in partnership with Goodwill and the Denver Chamber of Commerce, and at Strive Charter school as part of her commitment to the community. In 2017 she went to Myanmar with Together, We Can Change the World to work with impoverished women and girls. In 2019 she joined their board and will help them create a strategy to meet the needs of more women in SE Asia. She is a leader on and off the platform.

Renee Silverstein

Renee Silverstein is a St Louis native who graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Accounting. Renee and her husband, Sam, enjoyed a life changing trip with TWCCTW and Renee is passionate about helping however she can. Renee is past president of Congregation Shaare Emeth and served on that board for over 18 years. When not traveling or curled up with a good book, Renee helps Sam in his business. Or, you can find her hanging with her children and grandchildren.
Steven Tilliss, DDS

Steven Tilliss is a Denver native who attended the University of Iowa, obtaining his dental degree along with completing his Periodontal residency, plus a Masters Degree in Dental Science. Dr. Tilliss resides in Greenwood Village, Colorado, with his wife, Debra Fine, enjoying the visits of his four grown children. Steve and Debra have been on four trips with TWCCTW, each time providing dental treatment and assessments. Steve was instrumental in setting up a dental program with CCDO(Cambodia Community Dream Organization) which identifies and treats high-risk children and provides prevention programs in Siem Reap Cambodia.
His hobbies include travel, cycling, tandem bike riding with his wife and all sports.

Terence Rodrigues
Secretary
Terence Rodrigues is a registered professional engineer with over 18 years of experience in railway rolling stock design and manufacturing. Based in Melbourne, Australia, Terence’s engineering experience comes from working with multinational rail companies and spending time working with rail customers in Asia and Europe. Currently, he has moved into the customer’s space as a Senior Manager at the Department of Transport for the Victorian State Government, overseeing major train and tram projects for the state. Terence has been part of TWCCTW since 2015 and has joined the team on various adventures in Cambodia and Thailand. He is also part of The Food for Good Project (www.FoodForGoodProject.com) founded by his good friend and schoolmate Ron Khoo, which provides meals to disadvantaged children. Terence loves field hockey and is still active on the field. He is also a keen scuba diver and is very passionate about conservation of the seas and marine life.

Ron Khoo

Ron Khoo is an accountant by training who stumbled upon the world of fine wine and gourmet food. He left the numbers and headed towards liquid wonders. He has been a fan of TWCCTW since 2014 and has, on average, been on at least 1 trip per year to visit the projects. Ron is currently based in Hong Kong and takes care of wine & spirits for Cathay Pacific, one of the world’s best airlines. When not musing about food & wine, his other passion is to provide meals to disadvantaged children through The Food for Good Project (www.FoodForGoodProject.com) which started in Malaysia with a one-for-one restaurant. All the meals go towards TWCCTW projects and at least once a year we physically visit the projects and serve the meals there ourselves. Having been a management consultant for over 45 years, Bill (although now “semi-retired”) still accepts an occasional assignment in the greater Seattle area. Focusing his practice on Strategic Pay and Personnel Issues, he works exclusively with the Boards of Directors and CEOs of privately-held, for-profit, Pacific Northwest companies. His efforts are devoted to helping those organizations align their reward systems with their values, cultures, and strategic goals.
